Lola Forester caught up with social justice and human rights campaigner Gerry Georgatos on Blackchat.

Gerry has a long history working closely and alongside the homeless, the most vulnerable and the incarcerated. He is also a prisons abolitionist and animal rights advocate. He has established projects to improve the life of others. He helped establish the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Evaluation Project (ATSISPEP) and was the Critical Responder of the ATSISPEP’s pilot of the Critical Response Project, responding to suicide affected families. He also championed the National Indigenous Critical Response Service.
